What is Elderberry extract?

A deciduous shrub or small tree of the genus Sambucus in the family Caprifoliaceae. The berries are black-purple or red, with 3-5 stones and are rich in oil, mainly oleic acid, linoleic acid, linolenic acid. It also contains a variety of Amino Acids , vitamins A, C, B1, B2, E, pectin, reducing sugars and micronutrient zinc, nickel, lead and copper. Elderberry Anthocyanin is produced from Elderberry which grows in the humid climate of 1100-2400 meters. The Elderberry Anthocyanin is extracted by countercurrent ultrasonic wave, separated by ultrafiltration membrane and centrifuged at high speed, it is refined by extraction, filtration, separation and concentration, and mainly contains active ingredients such as anthocyanins, flavonoids and polyphenols.
